Mildred Audrey Husk, 91, of Parkersburg, went
home to be with the Lord on Feb. 11, 2007, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 22, 1915, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late James P. and
Esther Dennis Wilson. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother, and in later
years, she became a volunteer at CCMH.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Husk and wife, Gloria, of Florida and Floyd
Husk II and wife, Karin, of Georgia; four daughters, Sandra Kay (Judy) Skelly
and husband, James, of Belpre, Virginia Ross and husband, Dallas, of Belpre,
Peggy Lowther of Parkersburg and Bonnie (Barker) Mixon and husband, Ronnie, of
Mississippi; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 13
great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41
years, Floyd A. Husk Sr.; one daughter, Barbara Nichols Biles; two
grandchildren, Kimberly Nichols Riffle and Mark Husk; four sisters, Ada Pickens,
Lola McAttee, Violet Bartlett and Beaulah Pickens; and two brothers, Bud and
Milliard Wilson.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg,
with Lloyd Winans officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2t-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
