I Gloria Jean (Powers) Husk wife of Danny Lee Husk am adding this account of a part of the Husk family lives to my web page as told by Danny's mother while he was on a visit to Parkersburg, West Virginia where most of the family lives.

It is now March 25, 2003 as I'm putting this all in the computer. Mom is now 88 years young and going strong. She was born Mildred Audrey Wilson daughter of James Parmer Palmer Wilson and Esther Hayes Dennis on August 22, 1915. This lady has been a great mother-in-law to me for almost 40 years now.

A note from Danny's Sister Sandy who put this all down on paper for the family.
June 25, 1998 - Dear Dan, and Gloria.
I received your pictures. Thanks so much. I finished typing Moms book. she really enjoyed this. I think she did a wonderful job.
We have been really busy, I wallpapered the downstairs bathroom, and of course working in the yard. The boats have been really busy so I haven't had much time to sit down. That's ok I enjoy keeping busy. ASAP I will be getting on the net. Sorry its taking so long.

Well I guess I'll close for now, I'm going to pick up Mom, I'll be in touch soon. Jim says hi. Love Sandy and Jim.

This book is dedicated to all of my children.

Today is Monday, June 15th , 1998. I am writing a book for Dan about his trip. My son Dan came home for a visit from Florida We were very surprised, and happy to see him,

He arrived the first part of June, we were all excited. because we didn't know he was on his way up, so we were very surprised.

We never thought he would decide to take the trip. He drove the R.V., and that was a big job for here. With all the families prayers, and Dan's faith, the Lord was with him. Thank God, he made it up, and back safe. He stayed for a week. I'm sure he enjoyed his visit very much.

Dan and I went out to take picture, picture's of places we used to live. I will try and tell you what I can remember about the pictures.

This is Dan at home in Florida, under a shade tree. It looks like he's having fun playing with his dogs. It looks nice, and cool there. The dogs are really pretty He wouldn't know what to do without them . It gives him something to do, he really enjoys playing with them. This is a good picture of Danny with Critter & C. J..
