Carrabelle Florida Area's Run In With Him

I called our neighbor from Ga. beside of us across the street and told them that a big Live Oak split off and come down in there back yard. I didn't know it was two pieces till I went over to take a picture but I was told that someone else had also called and was told it was also on the storage building. Thank God it missed the house's, but it did get the chain link fence. Another neighbor back up on the hill had some damage also tin roof bent back and carport bent a bit. Two other neighbors had small tree limbs and salt burnt tree's. The blue house also had the water up in the yard. Our house is the last two and faired well, one tree branch broke and about 8 shingles popped off.

They have been down here at the beach working on the front lots all morning. About noon all of a sudden we started to have a lot of traffic on Arizona St. so I went out to see what was going on. I found they had detoured the traffic up our street.

 Danny said the Police are still blocking our 4 mile access to Carrabelle as he went to the store this morning 7/14/05 because of the road.

The 4 mile part of highway 98 to Carrabelle was opened back up after the road was cleared from the Island View area and also in a few other spots of wooded area. I went to the store this morning 8/9/2005 and took time to take these pictures on my way back home. Four park models were shoved together and blown apart also the back side of the concrete units were blown out. Everything for the most part like all else was washed away and across the highway where piles are still standing at this date.
