BOY!! I tell you what Danny has not "SHUT UP" since they took the trachea out yesterday. It is so "GREAT TO HEAR HIM TALK AGAIN". He is still to get the stitches out Monday & be taken to HEALTHSOUTH Rehabilitation Hospital of  Tallahassee.

Danny id still on the feeding tube in his stomach to get extra things that he need to build is strength up PLUS "We" had a good dinner from the kitchen like yesterday. He had roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, apple juice & cake, and he did a good job of eating.

 Danny's weight had gone from about 185 lb. to 160 lb. so he is giving himself an "EXTRA BOOST of ENERGY DRINK" in his feeder tube.

This morning I took our friend Mary Adams the wife of Howard who died of cancer Tuesday April 22,  last year to see Danny this morning. Danny was doing Great when we got there then he didn't get his way about wanting his stitches out today and go home.

So for the first time in three days he shut up and got in a pouting mood just laying there quiet so I had a few choice words with him about THANKING GOD HE IS EVEN HERE and getting his act together or they would give him the drugs again to settle him down.

 So unless he can talk them into something else he still will get his stitches out tomorrow and will go to Health South Tallahassee Rehab Center Monday or Tuesday. 

Still pouting I asked Danny if it was OK! to get a picture of him and Mary and he said "I don't care" so that is why he doesn't look his usual thumbs up happy self. 

Well Danny called a while a go and said he was SORRY for the way he acted when we were there and that we are all right and that he should be grateful and do as he is told. He also asked me to apologies to Mary for him.

Danny was ready for the day when I got there this morning. He did get his stitches out today.

At this point there came a hitch in the come along, it turned out there was no room yet at HEALTHSOUTH Rehabilitation Hospital of Tallahassee so Danny settled in for dinner and tomorrow is another day and we will see what happens then.

I got to the hospital about 9:30 AM at the same time as our son Johnny who came down from South Carolina to see his Dad. 

While there Dr. Lambert came in to see Danny and was amazed to see him come around as he has and asked about having Prayer with us all for Danny and his up coming surgery he was to do today.

Danny finally got to go to the HEALTHSOUTH Rehabilitation Hospital of Tallahassee today at 5:00 PM. I got his clothes a stuff in his room for him and left for home. He called me on my cell phone as I was on the way home and said "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW GOOD IT FEELS TO TAKE A SHOWER & BE IN STREET CLOTHES AGAIN".
