Hi ALL, This is a note from Danny to you ALL!!
Wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers that I know reached me here in Florida, like Gloria and I say Love, Faith, God, have no boundaries.
I tried to walk today but went a little too far, again, I will let you guess who was with me an helped me out again, (Gloria).
I had an egg, toast, and bacon, for breakfast, not old bland hospital food, But! Gloria's good old country cooking, You can't beat it, for breakfast.
My blood sugar level was 162 fasting, not bad for me, after a hot dog for lunch, GLORIA'S POOL ROOM HOT DOG, if you never had one you are missing a treat.
After the eating my blood sugar was 208, again, it will go down after I drink some water, and not eating anymore. In the hospital they would checked my blood sugar level, and it was like 212 and they would give me 2 or 3 units of insulin. GO FIGURE, Maybe it is money!!, then bring the lunch tray, and it would have food and drink to bring it back up again.
My son, Johnny brought me a device that plays CD's, and allows you to study, meditation, other things, it was neat, I am trying, here is a web site to check it out:

Danny has just gone to bed at 9:00 PM so I thought I would do an update. He is doing surprisingly WELL! Tomorrow I have to take Danny back up to Tallahassee to get his feeder tube taken out. Why in the world they didn't take it out at the hospital is beyond me. There are to many finger's in the pie making money off of all of this, I know that for sure!!
Danny has been walking through the house and out on the front porch which runs 50 feet of our 60 foot house and is going up and down one set of the back deck steps more than the front.

Danny has still been chilling out with his Boy's who won't let him make a move without them, he has been flying his flight simulator and playing with the camera on his computer.
C. J. (on Danny's lap) came to my door to get me and let me know Danny just woke up again while doing this update, C. J. will also come get me when Danny tells him to go (get mommy). C. J. is closer to Danny than his little daddy Critter is.

We went to the Dr. today to what we thought would be to get the feeder tube taken out, WELL! Surprise! it can't be taken out until the 25th. of the month.
WHY! we were told that it has to stay in for at least six weeks to allow for a bridge like growth to grow around the tube that would connect the wall of the stomach to the wall of the body, making a tunnel that the tube would be in at that point. When that happens the tube can safely be pulled out. Otherwise if it would be taken out now stomach content would come out the hole into the body and cause an infection and possible death if not caught in time. SO! two more weeks.
