Danny is in fine spirit this morning, he has been doing his exercises. He also told me of a sweet little old black lady out in the court yard that he prayed with last night about giving up he smoking and that she said it felt as though her wheel chair came off of the ground at that moment.

Danny just called again to say that he just got the cutest Birthday Card from my sister Connie and to please send her an e-mail of THANKS.

Danny called that he was wore out from his exercises and that he heard a dog barking, he looked out the window and saw a little dog with a red leash. He went out to see it, got down on the ground to play with it but then couldn't get back up so some other older guy had to help him up. It kind of upset him that he couldn't get back up and said he wanted me to know that so I would be aware if it happened at home. He said he was going to take a shower and try to chill out.

Danny called and said he had a good supper and was going to watch some Friends on TV. Here at home when Danny tries to watch it and he starts laughing and C. J. starts going silly because Danny is laughing so much.

Danny has been working hard on all of his therapy today. He said they have mentioned about him maybe coming home this weekend. They still have to take out the feeder tube though before he leaves Rehab. He hasn't had to use it at all other than to keep it flushed out. He has been eating about everything in sight. He is talking a lot clearer and normal to his own voice now that the trachea hole is healing.

Danny has still been working hard on all of his therapy today. He is hoping that they will let him come home tomorrow or Saturday. "LORD I PRAY SO". They have also mentioned Rehab at home if necessary, which would be better than having to drive to Tallahassee.

"RED LETTER DAY"

I just got the call from the case worker and she said "DANNY WILL COME HOME TOMORROW". I'll go up in the morning to get him, check out 9:30 to 11:00. I was planning on going up today and take him some things. BUT! not sure now if he will want me to still come up today, the case worker said I ought to just wait till tomorrow.
